This may be the last night that I am sleeping in Main Hall. I can't even fathom the memories in this beautiful dorm. I am moving in the Hill with Carly just for the fall semester. She asked me if I wanted to live in her suite around March but I wanted to squat my room since I have an unyielding love for that room. However, during finals week, I have gained a new love in the Hill. It was a nice building and it had such great amenities and then some. I figured, "Oh why the hell not?" I emailed the appropriate people and now I will be living the Hill for the fall. (Just for the fall since Carly asked another friend who is studying abroad for the Fall semester, but she will return in the Spring.)
I was looking through the thousands of pictures I've taken with my phone and my room is so beautiful. I really do love Main 203. In all honesty, I am having a mini-panic attack because I am so used to being in such a huge room without anyone. (Oh the perks of having a roommate who is usually with her boyfriend.) But I did love this room a lot. I am sort of freaking out because it's going to be nice living in the Hill... but still. AH. I am going to miss the lighted candle during Vespers. I am going to miss walking downstairs to go to Coffeehouse. I am going to miss watching parades pass outside my window.
Maybe I will come back to Main Hall in the Spring. But since I've squatted my room with Gretchen, she will be living in that room. AH. I don't know what to do!
I truly love Main Hall 203. I just love Main Hall in general. But maybe, I should be okay with a change. I guess it will be cool living in a dorm with air-conditioning... and men.
