I've finally graduated. Wow. I can't believe this is happening. Four years just went past my eyes. This is the start of something totally new.
I cried while the band played the Star Spangled Banner. I wasn't crying because of my realization that this is the last time of my high school career, but instead I was crying because I was reminiscing of my marching band days and playing our national anthem at that same stadium with my fellow band geeks.
I'm really gonna miss high school. Many people say that high school sucks but quite frankly, it is seriously how you make of it. You're probably in your room right now thinking, "My God I hate my life. Why is everything bad happening to me? Why is my boyfriend being such an ass? Nobody loves me!.. etc etc." We all know that moments in our lives suck but we have to make it through. It sounds cliche, but honestly. Do not let anything get you down. Not some rude prick who decides to give you an attitude for no reason, or that people are just letting you down. You have to keep your head up high, feet about to pounce for the world and scream, "I AM FIERCE."
I know you are probably one of those people who care what others think, but who cares about them. For the people that do not accept you for your haphazard entities, weird voice, crazy height, and odd cravings, then FUCK THEM! :D
As what Theodor Geisel said, otherwise known as the Dr. Seuss, "Be who you are and say what you feel, because those who mind don't matter and those who matter don't mind."
And if life happens to embarrass you, like you fall down the stairwell with a butt load of people watching you, laugh about it. The people starring at you are just waiting to see you cry, burst into tears or turn like a tomato. They are vying to see that, that's where all the intense action comes. This is the climax. But if they see you laughing, then they won't look at you weirdly or awkwardly. Instead, they'll possibly have more fun (hopefully not laughing AT you, but instead WITH YOU) because laughter is contagious. Any type of action is contagious.
What will yours be?
Also, when some stuck up person tries to give you a nasty look, DO NOT look at them. Trust me, you will know when they start staring at you. They are trying to give you a dirty look for a long time because they want you to look at them - so they can make you feel like shit. However, if you want this to be comical, look at them for a long time until you start crying. Then laugh crazily after.
Serves them right!
Until next time! (because I am seriously tired, I am about to fall asleep on this floor right now!)
Hopefully this will help you throughout life and beyond. More of the series coming up next.
