"It's not easy having yourself a good time"

These past couple weeks have been filled with drama, comedy, a tad bit of romance, and suspense. It’s funny how I’ve cited a few movie genres, but I suppose you can say my summer so far has been like a myriad-genre movie. Not that it’s bad or anything… it’s wonderful that way.

(Don't worry; I wasn't the one involved with the romance. I was just a silly ol' witness. But at the end, the girl gets smacked in the face - literally. It would've made a great made-for-TV movie!)

I only attended one sweet sixteen and that was Brittany’s. Since Brittany’s dad was picking us up around 3:30 pm, it would be virtually impossible on attending Kelly’s party. (Her party started at 3:30 pm.)

I might have a sweet sixteen. I might not. I’m not a big fan of parties, or dancing. All I know is on December 14, 2007 I will be at 30 Rockefeller Plaza, watching Late Night with Conan O’Brien with friends in the front row.

I went to Harrisburg on June 26th with my mom. She was involved in a group filled with women starting their own business and such. I really enjoyed being there considering there was so many motivated ladies who were all different in their own way and had innovative ideas on how to make their business soar.

I’m not a huge fan of business, but with two years in FBLA and attending that group meeting, I am finally interested in what’s going on in the world of business – and whatever Maria Bartiromo has to say.
Suppose I can make a short visit to Wall Street when I come back from Virginia.

In other news, I attended my first Officer Council Meeting for Key Club. I ran for head of the Public Relations Committee. The geek I am, I wrote a page long speech while eating oatmeal. I won it and right now, I’m pretty excited for the Dance-A-Thon we’re promoting. And, I’m also pretty darn surprised that the members of my committee laughed at my corny jokes and silly mistakes. I believe comedy, productiveness, motivation and some other things I don’t feel like naming are great characteristics a team should have.

Last, it’s been 366 days that I had this blog. I don’t think I’m stopping any time soon.
