Oh man, two more weeks and I am done for the semester! I still have some papers that I need to write (which I am going to do after I finish this entry).
I love walking around the city during winter with a friend. It's a ton of fun. I cannot wait for the snow and have crazy snowball fights! It's going to be great! I need to finish this semester with a bang.
I've came to the conclusion that for the most part, I worked really hard in all my classes and I gave my best. There are some exceptions and no, they are not unforgivable. Till this day, I am slapping my head for my carelessness. But overall, I tried. When it came to writing papers, I always gave 100% and my grades reflected that. I basically got an A for my medieval journals and right now, I have about a B-. Which, when I look back, it's not so bad. I did terrible on my facilitation (thanks to my partner), and in the first quiz. I didn't do so hot in my "research" paper but other than that, everything was fine. I am mad about my participation grade being a 9/10. It's not my fault that I am sometimes late to class. I miss the bus, I keep on eating in the dining hall... whatever. All I have to worry about is the final and if I do sexy on that, I'll be in good shape.
As far as other classes, I have more places where I can redeem myself. That's where the papers and the other short quizzes come in. Next semester, I am going to work so hard, harder than I did before. I think I need to stop being so cool, calm and collected about class work. I mean, I try my best, yet, I'm still not satisfied. Next year, it is going to be different story. I can guarantee that. And heck, during the Spring semester, I always improve anyways.
I'm not sure what I am going to do during Winter Break though. It's nice knowing that you don't have any school work to worry about during Winter Break. It is surely a good feeling and I will be taking advantage of that. I really want a job, to be honest. I need to raise money for either a.) the Cadets b.) May term trips c.) Car
The Cadets, as you may know, as an opening for an electric cello part. I know, crazy isn't it? But it's true and since the Cadets are only accepting Bass 4 and 5, it would be feasible to try out for electric cello. In addition, there is a Soprano solo in the beginning of the show. And since I like to sing and I'm a lyric soprano (I guess?) I thought, "Why not?" So I am going to the December camp. I'm excited because I will be seeing familiar faces. I'm not sure how everything is going to work out considering playing a cello and singing during camp isn't really kosher for the Cadets.
Okay so I JUST applied to Borders. Thank goodness that they are now accepting resumes!
Anyways, with answering all those questions, I'm not sure what else to write about...maybe except the fact that I am going to be home in TWO WEEKS!! WOOOOOH!!!!
