Look here

Let's see if I can write an entry in ten minutes.

Probably...

So I can feel a huge amount of weight being lifted off my shoulders after I finished the majority of things on my To-Do List. I still have the persuasive essay as well as that stupid political science paper. Oh, I also have to study for my Musicianship final that's on Thursday and next Tuesday. Other than that, I'm excited for Saturday.

It's my concert at Lehigh. I'm a bit saddened that it is during the important time for my Moravian buddies; which is Vespers for them and for my Stroudsburg band loves; which they have MusicFest. I just think that this concert was put in such a terrible date. Oh well. We have more concerts to go anyways so I'm not as worried.

Believe it or not, I'm not tired at all. I did have about five or six hours of sleep last night and I woke up feeling extra groggy. I'm thinking about taking a nap after my meeting but I don't think I should. I need to get all of my work done before I can do anything "fun." My plan for tonight is to finish my persuasive essay and work a little bit of my political science essay and practice for musicianship.

And maybe, and just maybe, for shits and giggles... practice percussion. I love percussion. I might even switch my main instrument (cello) to percussion.

Boy would everyone have a fit over that!

For a while now, I am thinking about trying out for the Cadets. Call me crazy or whatever, but I'm thinking about it. From only playing bass drum in marching band for two years, I think I can handle it. I mean, for my senior year, my bass drum parts wasn't so bad. My director only put me in Bass 4 because I was an "unexperienced" percussionist. Now look at me now.. bitch.

haha For Moravian's Marching Band, I was put as Bass 1. (Screw you, I am not calling Bass 1, Bass 5. That does not even make any sense! You'll understand this if you are Barnsey!) But anyways, it was a challenge. It was a beautiful challenge though. I loved playing difficult rhythms and whatnot. And having more notes than everyone else is interesting. Oh and "leading" the bass drum line too. If I wasn't there, the line would suffer! Seriously. I think.

But we'll see about the Cadets. Phil really wants me to try out, he even said he'll help me pay for it and he is willing to drive me there. He's great and very supportive for my efforts. Then again, the price is expensive. I guess time will tell. I'd do it if I was rich.

My newspaper meeting is in about ten minutes and I have to pee.

Hi Nick! :D I miss you and everyone else!
