So Watch Me

Brian told me that I should not use the computer and just go up to bed and read, since he is afraid that many people will instant message me on the Internet, thus making it harder to read "Twilight" since I will be succumbed to talking to my friendly friends.

My boyfriend of 20 months and 1 week was absolutely right. (Don't think I'm obsessive because I know the longevity of my relationship. Scroll down this page and it'll tell you. No, I am not shitting you.)

Reading Marie Clarie's July issue really got me thinking. On page 66 (If you were that obsessed) had a segment on "How to be a Voluntourist." I'm all about traveling the world and helping people so this really piqued my interest. Even since this summer is kind of mundane I want to spice it up to its fullest extent. Think of Angelina Jolie going to Tanzania to help build a hut for Congolese refugees. Talk about awesome!!

I was going on some websites, and the majority of the volunteer programs were really expensive. I caught one website, however, and the rates were actually pretty good; about $500. I still have to see. I don't want to devote my mom's money into something that's a scam. I suppose I need to call ASAP.

Random, but I'm listening to the Ice Princess soundtrack. That's one of my favorite movies and the soundtrack is full of girly, motivational songs. Which, I love, especially doing work or trying to prove some pessimistic bastard wrong; like this song I'm listening to. Emma Robert's "If I Had It My Way." It's catchy and fun. Plus the lyrics are relatable. Common, ever had someone tell you "You can't do it!" Well this song helps you fight that loser with every muscle you got! haha

Time to read more Twilight and going to bed.
