Registration wasn't so bad. I am going to change some of my classes though; especially "Jesus and the Gospels." I know that I shouldn't be so down about a religion class, but I promised myself that I am going to be taking classes that interest me. I am going to take it because I want to, not because I want to show off my "skills" or that seem "smart" or "prestigious." My advisor also put me in "Intro to Africana studies" since I couldn't take the American history course for God knows what. I am interested in the class, however, I don't know if I should take it. Why 'am I freaking the hell out now??
I suppose I want to have a perfect college schedule. Thanks Add-Venture program for making me feel so lucky, yet so maniacal on choosing college courses. And thank you Stroudsburg Marching Band for exceeding my expectations on a ridiculously amazing and seriously being a kick ass marching band, that I am now expecting Moravian's marching band to be the same. If not, I am going to run naked around the streets of Historical Bethlehem. Oh you'll see.
I wish I was a better percussionist though. With two years in Stroudsburg's Marching Band, and just a year in concert band, I still don't know how to play mallets (Okay, I can kind of do, but I seriously suck. You should of seen the look on Cassady's face when I was forced to play scales for my grade) and I cannot play a snare drum to save my life! I can't even do a decent drum roll to save my life on the thing. So, I shouldn't really consider myself a "percussionist." I think I should just call myself a "pseudo percussionist." I am such a wannabe sometimes. Well.. only in music.
And figure skating, but let's not get into that now.
In good news, I'm rooming in Main Hall. Which was my first choice dorm, despite the no air condition, and being a wee bit far away from the Main Campus. I chose it because it was at South Campus, the home of the musical, artsy classrooms, practice rooms, concert halls, you name it. It's all situated in South Campus. Plus, at Stroudsburg, the majority of my time was spent in the Orchestra/Band room or in the Orchestra Locker Room, or that other room which was the Activities Secretary's office, but now switched to another practice room (that had a bathroom... as well as a... pseudo drum roll please... a shower! However, it was all covered in random bricks and cardboard. I don't think Stroudsburg High School's administration didn't want their employees having a nice hot shower in their office. Oh well. That's now the sprinkler's job.
It gets confusing when I have to identify the differences between my dorm (Main Hall) and the campus (Main Campus) or the street where Moravian is, technically (Main Street.) I'm very tempted to write a letter to the editor of the Comenian and offer a suggestion on changing the names. Screw Main. Why can't we use dorkus or majesto instead of "main?" Only I can dream.
I need to feed my addiction to the Sims. (No I am not trying to promote it. No I don't get paid. I'm actually poor. Though I do have a nice 20 and a shit load of change in my wallet. No I am not a stripper. Or a hobo... Yes I am not tired.)
