Smile that it happened - I love you PA FBLA!

After getting home from my FBLA conferences, I don't know about you, but I always feel so nostalgic. And I wish I could somehow, just for a little bit, go back in time to the conference and relive those bittersweet memories of excitement, anxiety, passion, change, and of course, love.

Going to the conference with BH was fun - of course he was pretty much the only person I was with, but it was still really nice anyways. It was his second school sleep-away trip. For me, it was my...tenth? I really like that though - we are just with each other which creates more intimacy, personal talks, etc.

I really enjoyed the workshops I was in. It really made me think and I feel more confident about myself and how I can be a better leader. All I need is some enthusiasm and energy - then I should be well on my way to becoming.. oh I don't know, someone important I guess.

Also at states, more and more I started to realize that you're the one for me. Sure, we have our bumps and bruises but we get over them. We work on our problems in some peculiar way, but hey, at least it improves.

Now that I think of it, I have school tomorrow. I seriously don't want to go, but I know I have to. Oh boy. At least I can thank all the free candy I got as a delegate to save me while my stomach churns during English class.

Also, I really missed my Intro. to Film studies class while I was at FBLA States. I love the people and the class is just so wild and yet, very informing! 3rd period really makes my day. Oh man! I now have gym this marking period! Oh golly! So much work to make up...

I'm still sad because I miss States and it's excitement. But I have a quote to make me feel all better. As how one state officer quoted Dr. Seuss, I will do the same.

Don't cry because it's over. Smile because it happened.
