Excuse me for my rudeness, but can someone try to enlighten me about people's anime obsessions? What's so special of exaggerated physical features that include bug eyes, pretentious, and very unrealistic hair and elongated limbs? I never saw its purpose, just mere entertainment. And the fans... boy. I've noticed a few anime fans in my school that believe that watching anime makes them experts on Japanese culture... not quite. Sure, Japanese Animation is a facet to their economy and it is very popular, but there is more than that then meets the eye. Look at Mickey Mouse? Yes, we adore him and his cronies are making big bucks with Disney, but there are other things about the American culture too. I just don't know if some of these anime fans will actually understand that.
Oh and don't get me started on Naurto or Dragon Ball Z. Or whatever the fuck they're called. Cartoons that deal with fighting bewilder me. From what I've seen, some of Naurto and Dragon Ball Z's trustful viewers are taking on actions made by the characterists (aka fighting.) I know it's the viewer's fault, not the makers, but I just wish there was some precautious measures taken in order to stop these fighting-hungry kids. Oh well.
Anyways, Central Park was nice. I’m surprised that the weather here is much warmer then it is in the Burg. And I finally got a good present for BH.
Darn you school. Our breaks aren’t that long.
