Despite all the everlasting work I am currently getting for my AP Literature and Composition class, I really love it. Maybe it’s because I love to write my heart out or because the class is so small or because participation is a major factor in the class or because I have a good teacher who’s pretty blunt; whatever it is, I really enjoy it.
I’m used to having English classes during the afternoon, but an early morning class is nice too. I suppose it gets my creative juices flowing earlier then usual.
Overall, school is going nice. Having two study halls is kinda weird, but I enjoy it. I get a lot of things done. And study halls are something where I can relax and slow down – because last year, I haven’t really slowed down. I just kept going and going and somewhere along the lines, I just died out and I suffered for a while. But as Tegan and Sara said, “Don’t you worry, there’s still time.” I hope they’re right.
The dress code is still annoying the beejezus out of me. But I can’t really do anything, I just have to wait until senior year is over, then I could donate the clothes or just keep them in reminder of how flamboyant my senior year was.
But anyways, I have really good teachers. Thank God I don’t have a math. Praise Jesus!
Marching Band is fun as always, I just really miss the seniors from last year – Kelly, Ricky, Aaron, etc. I needed someone scholarly to talk to, and I knew they were the perfect choices, but I soon realize, they were at college.
Poopy.
Mr. Detweiler. Seriously. Be healthy foolio! You need to write my college recommendation.
