Wouldn’t it be awesome to lower the voting age to 16?
It's just a thought. I was reading an editorial on the New York Times entitled, “You’re 16, You’re Beautiful and You’re a Voter.” It’s really fascinating and it presents good facts on why us 16 year olds should vote. Just think: we get a learner's permit after taking the driving test. Why not take a voting permit after taking a civics test...
Hmm, now that I think of it, I should really get my permit now.
I’m sitting next to my history teacher and he just informed me that on his spare time, he buys antique items from World War 2. Not gonna lie, but that's so cool! (Yes, I'm aware of that - I am a Nerd.)
Anyways, I'm getting better. I know what I want in life and what clubs I am in love with and which ones I'm going to throw away.
