What school can do, without the knowledge

It's amazing how school can change your perspective on things. And all these realizations I've encountered over so many times.

Yes, I've learned much about Teddy Roosevelt and how is wife and mother died on the same day - Valentine's Day or the fact that taking showers dries your skin. (I'm not sure if your skin dries less if your using mosturizing body wash. I tried to ask my biology teacher, but he couldn't stop laughing and complementing me on how good of a question it was. Even though he didn't actually answer it.)

But it's the things I've learned was much about myself.

Probably the number one thing I've learned was, in school is that when I crave for someone's attention, I talk loud and say my opinion so bluntly that everyone will notice.

It happened today, actually. I wanted to get this person's attention in Biology class, so I decided to talk about useless things in a loud tone of voice. Some stuff was meaningful, but I guess that was the only way to get this person's attention. It greatly worked too.

When I was talking to myself saying, "Where is the nuclear membrane located?!" He answered it with full confidence and telling me the right answer.

I wasn't sure whether or not he was listening to my whole conversation between a few people in class, but it seemed like it. My friend Alli told me that I'm loud in Orchestra (which is true, I play out) then I replied, "I'm not loud." Then the person, who was in the other side of the room said, "Yes you are. You're loud." But obviously, he was being playful and told me he was kidding.

I'm not sure if my loudness was a good alternative to getting his attention, but as I said, it worked perfectly!

I've also learned in school that not everyone is going to like the smart girl who sits in the back and asks questions all the time. Okay, maybe the intellectual deprived will not like the smart girl, but hey, I rather be smart than dumb!
